This cottage has been thoughtfully designed so that you and your guests can relax in comfort and style.
Downstairs you will find the sitting room with the fireplace and TV, the well equipped kitchen, a small utility room and the bathroom with a standalone shower.
Upstairs are the two double bedrooms with hanging space. The primary bedroom offers a stylish bathtub with luxury toiletries.
Guests will have access to the entire cottage and garden. We have one parking space available on the driveway, can accommodate two smaller cars.
Painswick is a historic and beautiful village known as the Queen in the Cotswolds. A short walk away from the property is the infamous 99 Yew Trees and the story goes that every time a 100th Yew Tree is planted, the devil stops it from growing...
Painswick is a quaint little village but there is plenty here to do! Painswick offers countryside walk to many dog friendly pubs, alpaca walks, a market every Thursday morning at the Painswick Centre, beautiful sceneries at Rococo Gardens and high tea and / or cocktails at The Painswick.
Further afield our guests can visit Stroud, Cheltenham Spa, Bath Spa, Bourton-on-the-Water, Birbury, Stow-on-the-Wold and many more popular Cotswold locations.
This cottage is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to explore the countryside during the day, and then to relax in luxury in the evening.
We recommend a car but you can reach us by taking the train to Stroud, and a bus to Painswick.
We have space enough for one large car on the driveway, and two small. But we do recommend making use of the free local car park (Stammages car park) in Painswick which is a short walk away from the cottage.
Dog friendly but please keep them off the sofas and beds.
